The wombat and butterfly demonstrate kindness and gentleness throughout their journey of life. They remind us to take time to stay calm and centred and touch the beautiful wherever we go. Compassion is showing kindness and care in the midst of suffering. Sometimes it requires us to take action, at other times, it is about just simply being with, a companion on the sometimes incredibly painful journey of life.
